your issue might be the console proxy vm has become defunct somehow (the
process within it either crashed or is no longer willing to respond...).
Have you tried restarting that vm? You can also log into that vm and
conduct some basic troubleshooting with the ssvm-check script. You can
follow the process outlined here:
