Here's a draft for you, based on the 4.4.3 announcement:

The 4.4.3 announcement contain a quote by you regarding the process, I
don't know if you want to reuse it, or if we should get a new one.
I see it varies in announcements whether or not they are included, 4.3.2
for instance does not have a quote.
