Subject PRIORITY RE: FINAL CALL: Apache CloudStack v4.4.1 announcement [was Re: 4.4.1]
Date Thu, 23 Oct 2014 13:37:19 GMT
I made a mistake.

Daan contacted me this morning asking which lists I had sent this announcement to. I replied
per below.

Then hit me that we needed to publish this on the CloudStack blog and Twitter feed as well.

There's clearly a break in coordination/communication and I will accept blame both for where
I was not aware of the process, as well as blanking on not fulfilling the PMC side of things
(the ASF bit is that I do the Foundation-level work the PMC takes care of the rest).

The issue being that I'm helping on the PMC side as well and didn't realize it was only me
getting the word out. So I'll be working on getting this done by 12Noon ET today, hopefully
sooner.

I suggest that we have this process written down for whomever will be running the tactical
side of things for easy reference as well.

Cheers & chat soon,
Sally

I know we are delighted and excited but this is a rather awkward quote. How about excited
or delighted but not both?

We are delighted and excited to be releasing version 4.4.1 of Apache CloudStack,

Mark
