Thanks so much, Daan.

One thing that would be helpful is to include what features/updates are included in the latest
release (e.g., why should folks consider updating).

I don't need a full-blown list as the latest HTTP Server update [1], but a bulleted list containing
3-5 items would be great.

Some projects also include a brief DOAP (description of a project) so that those unfamiliar
with the project (e.g., those on the "general news" announce@apache.org list) can be aware
of what it actually is/does. An example is from the CouchDB community [2]. Feel free to grab
copy from either the tearsheet or the "news announcement" that I'd drafted if it helps.

Also, do remember that in order for us to moderate it through the announce@apache.org list,
the email will need to be in plaintext.
