In order to allow virtual machines to have access to the internet they need a gateway.

I tried to bridge the NAT interface and the host only interface on the xenserver box in order to provide internet to the VMs. However the IP table rules get overwrote.

As a solution it is necessary to supply a gateway to the internet on the host only network.
