Subject [jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-5891) [VMware] Template detail cpu.corespersocket's value is not honoured
Date Fri, 17 Jan 2014 05:36:23 GMT
Likitha Shetty created CLOUDSTACK-5891:
------------------------------------------

Summary: [VMware] Template detail cpu.corespersocket's value is not honoured
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-5891
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-5891
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
          Components: VMware
            Reporter: Likitha Shetty
            Assignee: Likitha Shetty

If a template has been registered and "cpu.corespersocket=X" template details have been added
for it, then any instance deployed from that template should have X cores per socket.
This allows creation of an instance with multiple cores per socket in Xenserver. Allow the
same for VMware.
