Subject [jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-5098) [UI] Zone view is showing "Add VMware Datacenter" button even though zone is already associated with a data center
Date Tue, 10 Dec 2013 19:36:07 GMT

Jessica Wang commented on CLOUDSTACK-5098:

I can change UI back to use listApis instead of listClusters to determine whether to call
But I want to know how common the use case(“VMware zone without cluster”) is.
Almost all users(no matter they are using KVM, XenServer, or other hypervisors) will visit
zone detail page, but how many percentage of users will have this use case(“VMware zone
without cluster”)?
I’m trying to figure out whether it’s worth showing the listApis error (that listVmwareDcs
doesn’t exist) to all users(KVM, XenServer, ~) when every time they visit zone detail page.

Please let me know your thought.

details while adding the cluster.

center is already part of other Cloudstack Zone"

association in the DB aswell.

i was able to reuse the Datacenter
