Subject [jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-5035) Finding snapshot size
Date Mon, 04 Nov 2013 16:31:20 GMT
Diogo Monteiro created CLOUDSTACK-5035:
------------------------------------------

             Summary: Finding snapshot size
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-5035
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-5035
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
          Components: API
    Affects Versions: 4.2.0
            Reporter: Diogo Monteiro

Steps to reproduce:
Create a volume
Attach volume to a server
Take snapshot from volume
Delete volume

After the volume is deleted there is no way to find the size of the snapshot.

Expected results:
When listing a snapshot besides the volumeId and name the size should be included as one of
its attributes.
Internally the size is being tracked since if a template is created from a snapshot it will
inherit its size.
