Subject [jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-3221) Object_Store_Refactor - Unable to edit S3 Options after creation
Date Thu, 27 Jun 2013 03:37:19 GMT
Thomas O'Dowd created CLOUDSTACK-3221:

Summary: Object_Store_Refactor - Unable to edit S3 Options after creation
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-3221
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
    Affects Versions: 4.2.0
         Environment: chrome on linux
Cloudian or Amazon S3 object stores
            Reporter: Thomas O'Dowd

1. Navigate to Infrastructure -> secondary storage
2. Remove NFS storage
3. Add S3 storage with whatever options you want.
4. Navigate back to select that storage.

There is no way to edit any of the S3 options on the gui.
 - credentials may change over time
 - timeouts may need to be adjusted
 - retry may need to be adjusted
 - use https/http
 - others?

I guess changing other fields would effectively mean a new S3 store should be setup and the
old one deleted.
