It still works in our environment with 7.3 and biosdevname=0.

[root@ecs-b9a4b830 ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release 
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.3 (Maipo)

[root@ecs-b9a4b830 ~]# ifconfig |grep eth
eth0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
        ether 1e:00:34:00:07:ce  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
        ether 52:54:00:15:5c:a7  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
