Pierre-Luc, Geoff,

I couldn't find time to get back on this earlier due to $dayjob and #life,
sorry for having those ;)

It seems to me that the database values are by no means needed, are they.
The defaults in the global settings are fine and we do not need to add
anything to the upgrade script. I thought we did. Please dispute.

And also please test tip of 4.4 for this issue so I can respin,
