Subject [jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-176) Tooltip widget
Date Tue, 12 Feb 2013 23:37:12 GMT

Parth Jagirdar commented on CLOUDSTACK-176:

I have found following issues with ToolTips during brief Sanity Test:

(Please refer to attachments for more details)

1) Tool Tips missing at some places. (Example Projects > New Project Wizard)

2) ToolTips may get misaligned. To reproduce hover mouse over Input boxes multiple times.
(Refer to Screen 1 and compare it to Screen 2)

3) "A unique name for the template. This will be visible to users, so choose something descriptive"
; I think 94 Characters are too much for a ToolTip representing name. (Screen 3)
And is also inconsistent with other tooltips for names which are more concise and simple
such as "A name for the Zone". (Refer to Screen 1 and compare it to Screen 3)

4) ToolTips on Basic Zone installation wizard (The one you get at upon a fresh install just
after Login page) have Heading/Title "Hints" which is inconsistent with all other tooltips
presented in other wizards. (Screen 4)

5) Lastly only a few drop down menus(Select’s) have tooltips and almost no checkbox has
any. (Again this was brief sanity test).
I think ToolTips for "Public" and "Featured" on template registration wizard would be
worth reading for a new user.

Let me know if you have any questions.
