Subject [jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-439) Alert with typo and outdated text regarding "direct attached public IPs"
Date Thu, 01 Nov 2012 17:21:12 GMT
Kirk Kosinski created CLOUDSTACK-439:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Alert with typo and outdated text regarding "direct attached public
IPs"
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-439
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-439
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: API, UI
    Affects Versions: 4.0.0
            Reporter: Kirk Kosinski
            Priority: Minor

I created a basic zone and when the IPs available to instances became low, the following alert
was generated and displayed on the dashboard:

System Alert: Number of unallocated direct attached public IPs is low in availablity zone
LabZone

On the dashboard, these IPs are referred to as "Shared Network IPs", and the "direct attached"
term has been replaced by "shared" since CloudStack 3.0. Also, availability is misspelled.
This alert should be updated to use current terminology and to not have any typos.
