Subject regarding cloudstack VPN
Date Mon, 17 Sep 2012 11:07:39 GMT
HI All,

What will be the expected value for the Gateway when we enable/Connect to VPN (from cloudstack)

1.From Cloudstack,Enable the VPN on SourceNat IP
2.create VPN users
3.from windows machine ,create VPN Connection (Vpn Type-L2TP/IpSec protocol)and connect to
VPN network
4.once its successfully connected to VPN connection. check the ipconfig from your node.

IPconfig from my machine
*****************
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
   IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.147.29.254
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.147.29.1

PPP adapter citrix:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
   IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.1.2.2
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.1.2.2

Am able to ping to default gateway(10.1.1.1) and able to ssh to guest VM but not able to ping
google.com. when I check Ipconfig on my laptop/windows machine .default gateway set to 10.1.2.2
which is same as IP address(10.1.2.2) got when we joined/connected machine to VPN.

My doubt is whether default Gateway should be set as router default gateway (i.e 10.1.1.1)
or not? What will be the expected behaviour here?

Regards
Sadhu
