Subject [jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-202) Can't create VM from ISO, when in VPC
Date Wed, 26 Sep 2012 00:34:07 GMT
David Black created CLOUDSTACK-202:

Summary: Can't create VM from ISO, when in VPC
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-202
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: ISO, Network Controller
    Affects Versions: pre-4.0.0
Environment: CentOS 6.3 x86_64, build 4.0.0-176. KVM hypervisor on separate node
from management.
            Reporter: David Black
            Priority: Critical

When I try to create a VM based on an ISO (e.g. new OS install) inside a VPC, an error of
this form is displayed:

Can't create vm from template with hypervisor None in vpc network Ntwk[210|Guest|11]

Creating a VM from a template works as expected, as does creating one from an ISO, using a
predefined guest network.
