I might be wrong, but you could achieve this already (I just played with Firebug), buy changing
the style of the elements: because the list consists of a DIV an UL an LI elements (so it's
pure markup), different CSS will position them differently. E.g. when the LI has a fix width,
and the parent is 2 time wider but has a fixed height, the LI elements could "flow" and fill
the content (with the right flow and clear css properties).
