Subject [jira] [Commented] (CMIS-673) cmis suport keberos authentication through webshpere
Date Fri, 14 Jun 2013 10:51:20 GMT

Florian Müller commented on CMIS-673:

The OpenCMIS NTLM Authentication Provider is not supported for any multi-user environment.
It only works reliably in single-user applications and only for NTMLv1.
It's certainly possible to add NTLM support, but nobody has done it so far (or contributed
any code back that does that). The key interface here is the {{HttpInvoker}} interface, if
you want to try it.

Does cmis NTLM authentication provider is supported under the websphere environment?

> 1. My web application is using openCMIS 0.8.0 and it is deployed on IBM websphere application
> 2. cmis client binding is using websphere cmis client binding package.

kerberos auth.

> The openCMIS authentication provider is changed according to the sharepoint :
> The openCMIS uses basic authentication provider if sharepoint is configured as basic
authentication. Otherwise it will use NTLM authentication provider if Sharepoint is configured
as Kerboros authentication.
