I have done this:
  ((DataContext) context).getParentDataDomain().setQueryBuilderFactory(new MyBatchQueryBuilderFactory());
which in turn sets a MyInsertBatchQueryBuilder.

Unfortunately, that is only called for inserts into the group and user db_entities, but not
for the join table.
