  Thank you!  That did the trick, I now have 3.0M2 working on the server.  I feel much better
about this project now that I'm using the same library on both client and server!

3.0M2 ROP works just fine. However you'll need Hessian 3.0.20. Could 
you try to upgrade Hessian and deploy 3.0M2 on both client and server. 
And then let's see if you have any errors in such setup.
