This doesn't reproduce with the steps you're providing. There's clearly some pre-existing
data in the table, and some sort of operation on that table in the past that isn't evident
from your repro steps.

Are you able to post the json for that table somewhere (sstabledump the -Data.db files on
disk ) ?
