There's nothing about Thrift that doesn't work in Python 2.6. I've  
been using it in daily operation for several months now.  There's the  
DeprecationWarning message, but that's a false positive and doesn't  
affect operation.  What he's seeing with parameter inconsistencies is  
something else.
