fetching the per partition limit (if set) or global limit (if not). As noticed, however, it
might be a bit too pessimistic, and double the load even when are only missing an extra row.
> Before 3.0.15 with that change is released, I'd like to make a small change, so nobody
gets surprised by sudden load increases. We'd start with {{2 * (limit - counted)}} and if
that's not enough, exponentially increase # of extra rows fetched until we hit {{limit}}.
