+1 to the fix.

If you wanted to stick with the Streamisms you could do Collectors.toList() after the map
and then wait on futures for that. Collectors are the don't be lazy step in streams. Although
if you aren't being lazy I'm not sure the syntax for streams is really all that much clearer.
