Subject [jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-11807) Add modern arguments to build.xml javac
Date Mon, 16 May 2016 15:18:12 GMT

Edward Capriolo commented on CASSANDRA-11807:

I did confirm that you will not seeing this issue with apache-ant-1.9.7 latest to download
on the site.
With this setting you can build on an ant as old as:
[edward@jackintosh cassandra]$ ant -version
Apache Ant(TM) version 1.8.3 compiled on February 29 2012
and possibly older.

I would suggest including this option because I can not think of a case where it does harm,
and based on your distro/packaging you may have an older version on the path. Your mileage
may vary.

is an acceptable option. With this the build works (for me)
