Subject [jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-10406) Nodetool supports to rebuild from specific ranges.
Date Fri, 15 Apr 2016 02:27:25 GMT

Yuki Morishita commented on CASSANDRA-10406:

Unfortunately, 2.1 went to accept critical bug fixes only, and new features like this only
goes to trunk.
So I took your patch and converted to trunk, pushed as bellow.

I modified the part that converts given range representation to {{Range}} object to use regexp
so that we don't get confusing error message when failed to parse.

Have a look, and since tests look good, I will commit if nothing seems wrong.
Then we can work together for dtest in CASSANDRA-10526.

> Add the 'nodetool rebuildrange' command, so that if `nodetool rebuild` failed, we do
not need to rebuild all the ranges, and can just rebuild those failed ones.
> Should be easily ported to all versions.
