Just to sanity check that the Cassci jobs are using the build scripts the same way we do when we run it manually and we don't break that. > remove cobertura from build file > -------------------------------- > > Key: CASSANDRA-10704 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-10704 > Project: Cassandra > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Russ Hatch > Assignee: Russ Hatch > Priority: Minor > Fix For: 3.0.1, 3.1 > > Attachments: trunk-10704.txt > > > Since the project has adopted Jacoco, I don't believe the cobertura tasks are in use any longer, and it's not certain if they still function. I don't think there's any benefit from trying to keep both coverage tools working, and also have the impression that cobertura development has slowed (or been slow to support new versions of java). Jacoco's other advantage is it's simpler usage (via a java agent), as compared to cobertura's offline code instrumentation requiring more complexity. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
