Subject [jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-9801) Use vints where it makes sense
Date Fri, 24 Jul 2015 12:52:04 GMT

Sylvain Lebresne commented on CASSANDRA-9801:

I'll note that [on cassci|], 2 additional
tests are failing for this ticket:
* {{RowCacheTest.testRowCacheRange}}: that's almost surely CASSANDRA-9865 (this patch certainly
does not change anything to the row cache)
* {{AntiCompactionTest.antiCompactionSizeTest}}: I haven't looked terribly closely but I've
seen that test fail with other patch that reduce the serialization size and it's failing on
some sizing assumption so I have strong suspicion that it's a test problem, where the test
makes assumption on sizes that are not valid anymore (because things are more compact). Someone
more knowledgeable of this test and Anti-compaction should have a look, but it feels very
unlikely that it is an actual bug of this ticket.
