Subject [jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-9765) checkForEndpointCollision fails for legitimate collisions
Date Fri, 17 Jul 2015 00:55:04 GMT

Stefania commented on CASSANDRA-9765:

Cassci has been running here:

In build #3 there were 3 failed dtests but they failed on the unpatched branch too (build
#92 and #93):

I just merged the dtest pull request and started a new build, #4. Let's see if we also get
the new dtests running on CASSI - if not they did pass on my box. The 4 new tests live in, TestConsistency.

Without CASSANDRA-7939, wiping a node and starting it again fails with 'A node with address
%s already exists', but with it the node happily enters joining state, potentially streaming
from the wrong place and violating consistency.
