Robert Stupp commented on CASSANDRA-7556:
-----------------------------------------

Note: Python driver support is in 2.6rc1 ([PYTHON-211|https://datastax-oss.atlassian.net/browse/PYTHON-211]).
Not sure about the release plans for Python driver 2.6 - or shall we include a custom build
in 2.2.0?

> Once CASSANDRA-7395 and CASSANDRA-7526 are complete, we'll want to add cqlsh support
for user defined functions.
> This will include:
> * Completion for {{CREATE FUNCTION}} and {{DROP FUNCTION}}
> * Tolerating (almost) arbitrary text inside function bodies
> * {{DESCRIBE TYPE}} support
> * Including types in {{DESCRIBE KEYSPACE}} output
> * Possibly {{GRANT}} completion for any new privileges
