Subject [jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-9485) RangeTombstoneListTest.addAllRandomTest failed on trunk
Date Sun, 31 May 2015 15:05:17 GMT

Sylvain Lebresne commented on CASSANDRA-9485:

Apologies, there was supposed to be a comment along with the commit but either JIRA ate my
comment or I messed up adding the comment.

In any case, I committed Ariel's fix although with a simplified reproduction test. I've downgraded
the priority because as far as I can tell this doesn't affect anything released. The bug is
only with range tombstone that have the same beginning than end, and while that's allowed
by {{RangeTombstoneList}} (and tested by the unit tests), this is never done in the code (this
would amount to removing a single cell, and we always make sure to use a normal tombstone
for that).

> The test is also broken for reproducibility. It doesn't print the seed used for the RNG
so it isn't possible to take a failing run and reproduce it.
