Benedict commented on CASSANDRA-8357:
-------------------------------------

It's likely whatever this bug is, it's still broken, but appreciate your trying latest. When
you do, and in general if you encounter any problem with stress, if you could run with -log
level=verbose so that we can get the full stack trace, that would be great.

> When using the CQLstress example from GitHub (https://github.com/apache/cassandra/blob/trunk/tools/cqlstress-example.yaml)
with an inverted exponential distribution in the insert-partitions field, generated threads
fail with
> Exception in thread "Thread-20" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 20 at org.apache.cassandra.stress.StressAction$Consumer.run(StressAction.java:307)
> See the gist https://gist.github.com/jenzopr/9edde53122554729c852 for the typetest.yaml
I used.
> The call was:
> cassandra-stress user profile=typetest.yaml ops\(insert=1\) -node $NODES
