I would go ahead and create a python driver JIRA ticket for the driver changes.  Just mention
this ticket and include a link to that commit/branch.  By the way, I think that driver change
will have problems on Cassandra 2.x, because the {{client}} column won't exist.

For the cqlsh changes, I would open a Cassandra JIRA ticket.  We'll need to update the bundled
python driver at the same time that we make the cqlsh changes (once the driver has merged
the changes it needs in).
