Scrub part seems ok.
Can you merge my 7124-wip.txt for cleanup?
Also can you do upgradesstable (SSTable rewrite) part as well?

While doing those, please try to eliminate duplicate codes as much as possible.

For coding style, use spaces instead of tabs and put curly braces in new line. (see http://wiki.apache.org/cassandra/CodeStyle)
