Sure, but when discussing state space we have to assume applications lifecycle periodically

Ok, if we can agree to that, fix the LSB and make clear to users they should not connect through
NAT, I think that's all of my concerns mostly dealt with. This will still be more annoying
to store, but surmountable without severe loss of efficiency.
