DIKSHA KUSHWAH reopened CASSANDRA-6401:
---------------------------------------

    Since Version: 2.0.1
           Tester: DIKSHA KUSHWAH

> "Clustering order by" property does not support when the column name is written in "uppercase"

> -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
>                 Key: CASSANDRA-6401
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-6401
>             Project: Cassandra
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: Core
>         Environment: Windows 7  64 bit
>            Reporter: DIKSHA KUSHWAH
>
> Database Version : CASSANDRA 2.0.1
> 1. Connect cassandra 2.0.1 and execute following query:-
>    CREATE TABLE "test"."cat"  (
> 	"cache"	text,
> 	"num"	int,
> 	PRIMARY KEY("cache","num")
> ) WITH
> 	CLUSTERING ORDER BY (num DESC);
> 2. Now execute following query:-
>
> CREATE TABLE "DOG"  (
> 	"CACHE"	text,
> 	"NUM"	int,
> 	PRIMARY KEY("CACHE","NUM")
> ) WITH
> 	CLUSTERING ORDER BY (NUM DESC);
> 3. When we create table "cat",it is successfully created but when we create table "DOG"
it gives error "Missing CLUSTERING ORDER for column NUM" because Table "DOG" column name "NUM"
is in upper case and Table "CAT" column name "num" is in lower case.
> 4. Cassandra supports when we create a Table with column names in upper case without
"CLUSTERING ORDER BY " property then it should also support this property with upper case
column names.
