Subject [jira] [Updated] (CASSANDRA-5964) cqlsh raises a ValueError when connecting to Cassandra running in Eclipse
Date Sat, 31 Aug 2013 03:57:54 GMT

]

Dave Brosius updated CASSANDRA-5964:
------------------------------------

    Attachment: 5964.txt

generate the version.properties file into ${basedir}/src/resources, and allow it to be copied
into classes by the regular build process. Doing this allows eclipse/idea to see it as a resource
that needs copying during build as well, and so they don't just delete the file on scrub-build.
The IDE should just have src/resources as a src directory. (Against trunk)

> The release_version is set to 'Unknown' in system.local so the version parsing logic
fails.
