Subject [jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-5629) Incorrect handling of blob literals when the blob column is in reverse clustering order
Date Mon, 10 Jun 2013 22:02:20 GMT
Aleksey Yeschenko created CASSANDRA-5629:
--------------------------------------------

             Summary: Incorrect handling of blob literals when the blob column is in reverse
clustering order
                 Key: CASSANDRA-5629
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-5629
             Project: Cassandra
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Core
    Affects Versions: 1.2.5
            Reporter: Aleksey Yeschenko
            Assignee: Aleksey Yeschenko
             Fix For: 1.2.6
         Attachments: 5629.txt

Parsing goes through ReversedType.fromString() in this case, and that doesn't strip "0x" when
calling BytesType.fromString().

The attached patch makes Constants.parsedValue() ReversedType-aware.
