Subject [jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-5184) Support server side operations on evaluating queries
Date Fri, 01 Feb 2013 05:25:13 GMT

Edward Capriolo commented on CASSANDRA-5184:

We have been hacking at stuff like this for a while now on a side-project. Have all types
of operations like this, filters, server side union, hbase like scanners in the works.
Already works with CQL:

Still some work to be done.

Since the query sticks to a single node and it is effectively a sequential scan.

things like timeseries filters and efficient versions of count() min() max() and sum()
