Subject [jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-5206) Cassandra CLI describe keyspace does not show column families correctly
Date Thu, 31 Jan 2013 14:53:13 GMT
Tran Huynh created CASSANDRA-5206:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Cassandra CLI describe keyspace does not show column families correctly
                 Key: CASSANDRA-5206
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-5206
             Project: Cassandra
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: API
    Affects Versions: 1.2.1, 1.2.0
         Environment: Windows, Linux
            Reporter: Tran Huynh
            Priority: Minor

When executing "describe <keyspace>" on Cassandra CLI, often the column families shows
an empty list, even though the keyspace does contains some column family.

Below is the result observed when doing a describe keyspace on the "system_traces" keyspace,
but this behaviour is observed on user created keyspaces as well.

[default@system_traces] describe system_traces;
Keyspace: system_traces:
  Replication Strategy: org.apache.cassandra.locator.SimpleStrategy
  Durable Writes: true
    Options: [replication_factor:1]
  Column Families:
