Subject [jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-3995) Support multiple indexes on single query
Date Mon, 19 Mar 2012 08:17:41 GMT

Dmitry Petrashko commented on CASSANDRA-3995:

// Start with the most-restrictive indexed clause, then apply remaining clauses
// to each row matching that clause.
Comment in KeysIndex is right as long as there is one index type. It selects most restrictive
index clause of those, that are supported by keys index, but as there is support for custom
indexes, SecondaryIndexManager should be able to select best of all possible index types to
serve a query.
I've added more comments that describe new approach.

> Expected behavior executing query with index with best selectivity.
