Problem with the suggested approach is that sortByProximity(..) *only* works when address
is the local address. See assert statement DynamicEndpointSnitch:134

I could hack this and rewrite the line to
{noformat}IEndpointSnitch snitch = DatabaseDescriptor.getEndpointSnitch();
snitch = snitch instanceof DynamicEndpointSnitch ? ((DynamicEndpointSnitch)snitch).subsnitch
: snitch;
snitch.sortByProximity(address, addresses);{noformat}
But this of course means that we always bypass DynamicEndpointSnitch's "scores".
