Jonathan Ellis resolved CASSANDRA-1592.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

it would be nice to allow generic stored functions/procedures to filter result sets server-side,
but limiting to regexp is not sufficiently general-interest.

> Sometimes, the client needs to apply advanced filtering to row keys to carry out ad-hoc
queries. Current implementation only supports prefix-match row filtering. This ticket is
to extend the get_range_slices() API to filter the row keys by regular expression.
> It can also be extended to filter the column names by regex.
