That's not very useful for most people, since we can't distributed JNA as part of Cassandra.
 "Now go build JNA from trunk" isn't part of install instructions people like to see. :)

how big is your MaxDirectMemorySize?  if you're not setting it at all then there is no limit
and you'll just start swapping (if that's enabled).
