Subject [jira] Commented: (CASSANDRA-2047) Stress --keep-going should become --keep-trying
Date Tue, 25 Jan 2011 14:15:43 GMT

Jonathan Ellis commented on CASSANDRA-2047:

wait, why would we want two options? for the purpose of just hammering w/ inserts it shouldn't
matter if we retry the same one or skip to the next, but if we want to do reads later it makes
a lot more sense to retry. In other words, I can't think of a reason we'd want keep-going
instead of keep-trying.

> I think it's more realistic (esp for a stress tool) to keep trying till this read/write
