It's possible that we missed something, but we we did test read repair post-982.  This is
the part that does the resolve:

                if (repairs.contains(command))
                    repairExecutor.schedule(new RepairRunner(readCallback.resolver, command,
endpoints), DatabaseDescriptor.getRpcTimeout(), TimeUnit.MILLISECONDS);
