Jonathan Ellis resolved CASSANDRA-1587.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem

i think we are good for 0.7.0?

we have progress of current validator on CompactionManager (CASSANDRA-1586 shows op type on
CM now), and we have differencers pending on o.a.c.internal.Antientropy.

what we don't have is a breakdown of how many pending tasks on CompactionManager are validators
instead of minor compactions, but for "good enough" i think we can ignore these.

we also don't have current differencer progress but i believe these are relatively fast.

> from my unfamiliar review of the code, it looks like this should involve exposing the
number and progress of AntiEntropyService Validators. But I could be wrong.
> If a repair task involves a sub-task like compaction (see #1586), then ideally both would
be visible at the same time.
