Subject [jira] Commented: (CASSANDRA-1667) StoreService exportSchema does not display all Column families
Date Wed, 27 Oct 2010 14:50:21 GMT

Gary Dusbabek commented on CASSANDRA-1667:
------------------------------------------

It seems that you added one column family to ks33 called cf33. It seems to be exported in
the yaml you have pasted as it appears in the contents of show keyspaces. I don't see a problem.

> Created a keyspace through thrift then ran StorageService exportSchema() with JMX. Results
do not match 'show keyspaces' namely ks33 does not have any information on its column family.

> ks33 was created like so using a replication factor of 3
> {noformat}
>  public static KsDef createRackUnawareKSandCF(String ksname,String cfname,int replication){
>         KsDef newKs = new KsDef();
>         newKs.setStrategy_class("org.apache.cassandra.locator.SimpleStrategy");
>         newKs.setName(ksname);
>         newKs.setReplication_factor(replication);
>         CfDef cfdef = new CfDef();
>         cfdef.setKeyspace(ksname);
>         cfdef.setName(cfname);
>         newKs.addToCf_defs(cfdef);
>         return newKs;
>     }
> {noformat}
