Date Sun, 11 Apr 2010 06:48:41 GMT

Ted Zlatanov commented on CASSANDRA-970:
----------------------------------------

This is great, but the exception should be an AuthorizationException, see cassandra.thrift:

/** invalid authentication request (user does not exist or credentials invalid) */
exception AuthenticationException {
    1: required string why
}

/** invalid authorization request (user does not have access to keyspace) */
exception AuthorizationException {
    1: required string why
}

> In login, if a keyspace does not exist, a NotFoundException should be thrown. This way,
the other thrift methods won't be executed against an invalid keyspace.
> Any objections to adding this?
