More thoughts on incrementally updated views:

In order to not add reads to Cassandra's write path, we could implement a modification to
mapreduce that splits the Map function into a map-key function and a map-value. I'm attaching
a conversation about a potential approach, but it doesn't really get into implementation details
or what the API for the map-key and map-value functions would look like.
