Subject [jira] Commented: (CASSANDRA-707) Token persistence
Date Sun, 17 Jan 2010 04:25:54 GMT

Chris Goffinet commented on CASSANDRA-707:

My fault:

It didn't mention Keyspaces, but I had removed Keyspace from the config before calling a flush
when I stopped the node.

> Had a situation earlier where I setup some new machines. I set the inititaltoken to a
token, had auto bootstrap off. Started up nodes, started getting writes, then shut them down
a few minutes later. Reverted config, inititaltoken was empty and autobootstrap to true, it
seems nodes started up, not finding the token and bootstrapping themselves as new nodes.
